I was born and raised in Australia but came to the US when I was in my early twenties. The US was where I furthered my education and developed my passions.
Education in fine arts, science, and law led to careers in opera and chorus work, followed by research assistant roles at a major medical center, and many years practicing law. I consulted for nonprofit organizations, focused on building strategic partnerships between nonprofits and corporations. This included co-designing literacy training conferences for educators and parents within Chicago Public Schools.
Opportunities to lead conferences, trainings, and public initiatives both locally and internationally, enabled me to develop a communication style that is engaging, thoughtful, and accessible to diverse audiences. This breadth of experience translates seamlessly into voiceover work. Opera developed creativity, and emotional range as a performer. Research developed respect for the integrity of data, while my legal career sharpened the ability to communicate clearly, think quickly, and remain calm under pressure.
